The Reborn Process

About Our Babies

I am an experienced reborn artist and create each doll as a unique collectible real lifelike baby. They can wear 0 to 6 month or preemie size real baby clothes. Each has a birth date when completed, time, weight and length. They are born at home in the Bear Hollow Nursery by caring and nurturing professionals. Our goal is to make each baby as natural and real looking as possible. The labor is long and detailed to achieve this just right natural look. Our babies are no longer toys, but need a loving mommy to adopt them or an older child and can be handed down from generation to generation.

Babies are given brand new jointed or custom, cloth infant bodies. The body is weighted with encased plastic pellets and surrounded with soft poly fiber fill. The weight is evenly distributed and proportioned to feel life like. The vinyl limbs are filled with glass microbeads and polyfill. No sand is used in our babies. This also makes them very poseable. Baby bottoms can have extra padding that you can feel through the diaper! Our babies are very cuddly the way they are and feel so real, you won't want to put them down! You even have to support their heads a little just like real babies.

The vinyl limbs and head are color washed inside and out with our special blend of permanent acrylics and hand painted blush colors; blushed and shaded to perfection in all the right places using up to 9 different shades. We are also using a new technique with Genesis heat set paints for added realism. Their beautiful little fingernails and toenails are carefully French manicured with very thin white painted on the tips for a just trimmed look and finished with two coats of a sealer. Nostrils are carefully opened up to let baby breath. Eyelashes and eyebrows are hand applied to be very natural looking. Babies have professionally applied quality Monique wigs, human hair wigs, Kemper mohair wigs, hand rooted or their original molded hair enhanced. New high quality and realistic eyes are used and always without cutting the vinyl whenever possible.

Our personal guarantee: We stand behind our products. If you find anything wrong with her/his quality or craftsmanship, we will repair or provide a replacement, if notified within three days of receipt and baby is returned postage paid with confirmation within 10 days of receipt in condition received. We want you to love and care for these babies as much as we do!
